This Privacy Policy describes how NordLab ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in the SwapRate app.

Information we collect

SwapRate does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app operates with minimal data:

• Exchange rates — fetched from a public currency API (no account or login required)
• App preferences — your selected currencies and favorites are stored locally on your device only, using AsyncStorage

Data stored on your device

The following data is saved locally on your device and never sent to us:

• Your selected currency pair (FROM / TO)
• Your saved favorite pairs
• Your currency list preferences
• Cached exchange rates for offline use

Third-party services

SwapRate uses the following third-party services:

• Fawaz Ahmed Currency API (via jsDelivr CDN) — to fetch live exchange rates. No personal data is sent with these requests.
• Google AdMob — to display ads in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• flagcdn.com — to load country flag images.

Advertising

The free version of SwapRate displays banner ads powered by Google AdMob. If you purchase the "Remove Ads" upgrade, no ads will be shown and AdMob will not be active.

Children's privacy

SwapRate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
